
DOCTOR REPRESENTATION ACCEPTANCE
Doctors that engage the services of Challis Recruitment Pty Ltd agree to the following:
– All information provided by the doctor is accurate, truthful, complete, up-to-date, and not misleading in any way.
– To allow Challis Recruitment and its representatives to verify the provided information, including contacting referees, previous employers, and current or prior medical registering bodies.
– To permit Challis Recruitment to disclose personal information per the Australian Privacy Principles and Challis Recruitment Privacy Policy to individuals, organisations, or third parties as part of the recruitment process, including clients (potential employers), government departments, regulatory bodies, and professional colleges.
– To provide a minimum of three professional referees, one from the doctor’s current supervisor and the other two from medical practitioners who have worked with the doctor within the last 12 months.
– To disclose any information that could reduce their ability to undertake employment safely and effectively as a registered medical practitioner.
– To comply with any criminal and background checks as requested.
– To indemnify Challis Recruitment Pty Ltd and its Director, employees, and representatives against any claims relating to medical negligence or otherwise in connection with any engagement or employment facilitated through Challis Recruitment.
– To acknowledge that no employment relationship or partnership exists between the doctor and Challis Recruitment and that Challis Recruitment is not liable for any expenses, such as regulatory body fees, airfares, or accommodation.
– To allow Challis Recruitment to obtain regular feedback reports from the employing organisation for quality control.
– To confirm their right to work in Australia through evidence of a current Australian passport or valid visa, including undertaking a VEVO check, and to be aware that immigration applications may require medical examinations, tests, and international police certificates.
– To demonstrate their ‘fitness to practice’ to Challis Recruitment and all Regulatory Bodies by providing evidence of accepted qualifications and experience, disclosing any personal medical conditions that may impact their ability to practice, and supplying certificates or letters of good standing as requested.
– To allow Challis Recruitment to represent them to potential employers within Australasia and to alert potential employers regarding their availability, including forwarding a Curriculum Vitae.
– To consent to Challis Recruitment sending their curriculum vitae and other recruitment documentation to potential employers should a suitable vacancy arise, to request and obtain professional references, and to collect personal information for recruitment purposes per Challis Recruitment’s Privacy Statement, with the understanding that referees will not be contacted without prior consent.
– To declare that all information provided to Challis Recruitment is true and correct and to notify them immediately if any information becomes inaccurate or misleading.
– To acknowledge that Challis Recruitment will rely on the supplied information to assist potential employers in determining the doctor’s capabilities.
– To be prepared for mandatory criminal record checks as determined by Challis Recruitment or any third party involved in the recruitment process.
– To confirm they have not been convicted of a crime that may affect their application to work as a doctor.
